Inaugural Lecture - Exploring how the universe begun

Abstract

What happened at the beginning of the universe has always been one of the most pristine questions of mankind. Thanks to advancements in observational and theoretical techniques from various fields of Physics, we are making great progresses in this exploration, while at the same time we use this journey to learn about the most elementary laws of Physics. I will give an overview of where we stand.
