Title

Strong Correlation Physics in Magic Angle Twisted Bilayer Graphene

Abstract

Moiré pattern are ubiquitous in van der Waals materials and can now be fabricated with considerable control. At a special magic twist angle, electrons in graphene bilayers become extremely heavy and experiments have shown that the electronic ground state can then be a superconductor, a metal, or an insulator depending on band filling and twist angle. I will discuss the current understanding of these behaviors.
