Title

Superstrings in the Very Early Universe

Abstract

If superstring theory is the correct theory which unifies all forces of nature at a quantum level, then strings will play an important role in the evolution of the very early universe. I will show how an early universe dominated by strings could look very different from an early universe dominated by point particles. In particular, a non-singular universe may emerge. I will demonstrate how such models can be tested with cosmological observations
