Title

Massive Gravity and Bigravity as a Solution of the Dark Energy Problem

Abstract

Cosmological data have shown that the expansion of the Universe is presently accelerated. This data can be fitted with a cosmological constant. But the value is very fine tuned and not protected from quantum corrections. This accentuates the old cosmological constant problem. In my talk I discuss an alternative: The graviton might be massive. This weakens gravity on large scales (‘degravitation’) and can even lead to accelerated expansion.
