Title

The Large Hadron Collider and Beyond: Future Paths in High Energy Physics

Abstract

The LHC has just started its 25-year exploration to expand our knowledge of the fundamental laws of nature, but the discussion of a future beyond the LHC has already begun. After reviewing current and projected LHC results, I present views on the future of high-energy colliders. The discussion starts from the big questions possibly left unanswered, or newly opened, by the LHC. I outline how new facilities under discussion address these issues, and the role of the technological and socio-economic challenges in shaping the far future of the
field.
